Steve Strickler

March 21, 2025, Steve Strickler was recognized for his years of service to the Kansas dairy industry.

The presentation included comments by past honorees George Blush and Joe Harner, as well as comments by KSRE dairy extension specialist Mike Brouk. Strickler offered a response.

For his dedication and leadership of the Strickler Holstein Farm with his parents, family and employees.

For his promotion of holstein genetics in the US and abroad through marketing over 30,000 bulls to US dairies.

For his efforts to promote the dairy industry through public tours and community events at Strickler Hostein Farm.

For his international efforts in 11 different countries promoting dairy excellence and judging dairy shows.

For his service to Lake to Lake Dairy Cooperative as the Director of Public Relations.

For his service as an Assistant Editor of Hoard’s Dairyman magazine.

For his service on the Corporate and Central Area Council of Dairy Farmers of America.

For his service on the boards of World Dairy Expo, National Dairy Shrine and Midwest Dairy Association.

For his service as President of the Mid-America Dairymen Young Cooperators and the Kansas Farm Bureau Young Farmers and Ranchers.

For his service to Kansas State University as a member of the Alumni Board, the Dairy Cattle Judging Team, Editor of the Agricultural Magazine, Ag Student Council President and Vice President of the Little American Royal.

For his selection as the Outstanding Senior in the College of Agricultrue at Kansas State University.

For his service as Chairman of the Iola First Christian Church.

For his willingness to share his enthusiasm for flying with others as a licensed pilot.
